My family is interested in learning more about Meruka
Meruka Child Care Co-operative is a community based, parent run, not-for-profit centre; we aim to provide high quality childcare for 0-6 year olds in a truly inclusive environment. Meruka often has a waiting list and we use this list to determine placement at the centre.
Families wanting to go on Meruka’s waiting list are encouraged to contact the Centre Co-ordinator for an appointment to arrange a tour of the centre. During the tour, details of how to register for the waiting list will be provided. Please note that you will be asked to provide photo identification and to sign our visitors book upon entry and exit of the service.
Meruka Child Care Co-operative’s waitlist is managed in priority order based on the duration a family has been registered on the waitlist and the requested needs of the family (eg. the number of days and the days of the week care has been requested). In addition, Meruka also applies priority of access in accordance with the guidelines set out by the Australian government.
